Carles Murillo Fort. Professor of Applied Economics at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). Director of the Master in Sports Management and Management at the UPF Barcelona School of Management. President of the Spanish Society of Sports Economy (SEED). Coordinator of the Centre d'Estudios UPF Sports_Lab. Member of the Board of Directors of the cluster of the sports industry in Catalonia (Indescat). Author of several works in economics and sport management, the outstanding ones related to the measurement of the contribution of the sports sector to the Catalonian economy and the economic and social impact of sporting events (the last one being the World Roller Games in June 2019 in Barcelona).
